COURSE OBJECTIVE

This course provides trainees with the skills as TCM Practitioner Assistant, operating in a clinical setting.  As TCM Practitioner Assistant, you will be able to provide support in traditional massage and the application of mechanical massage.

COURSE OUTLINE

1. The Basis of Traditional massage and mechanical massage 传统康复疗法证基础

- maintain safe and effective methods of working when providing body massage

- understand organisational and legal requirements when providing body massage

- understand how to work safely and effectively when providing body massage

- understand how to consult with clients

- understand hwo to prepare to provide body massage

- understand anatomy & physiology related to body massage

- understand contraindications and contraindications that affect or restrict body massage

2. Applying traditional massage and mechanical massage in treatments

- the techniques of Traditional Chinese Massage

- the application of mechanical massage: Guasha Therapy, Hot Wax Therapy, Moxibustion Therapy, Auricular Therapy, Infrared Modalities

3. Providing traditional massage and mechanical massage services in workplace 提供传统康复疗法技能服务
